Concrete Floors:

All homes with slab-on-grade foundations will come with concrete floors. Please note that concrete does not come with your home kit. Your general contractor will provide and pour the concrete for your floors, which will encase radiant heat.

Thermory Wood Floors:

All homes with pier foundations, crawl space foundations, and basement foundations will come with Thermory wood floors.  Thermory wood floors undergo a chemical-free thermal modification process to treat and color the wood, and the lumber is sourced from well managed American forests. Additionally, this flooring disperses heat from your radiant floor heating.  Finishes come in either Salsa or Tango, or can come with a wax-based Monocoat finish (as seen in the picture below).

Interior Walls:

Interior walls are drywall and painted with low VOC paints. Choose one color for the walls of the entire house. Pocket door panels come painted to match the interior walls. All paint finishes are in Lux Mat, which is a true washable matte finish.

Countertops:

Both the kitchen island and vanity countertops come with the choice of either Durat solid surface countertops or Richlite resin-infused paper countertops.  Durat is a unique ecological solid surface material which contains recycled pre-consumer plastics and is 100% recyclable. Richlite is an incredibly durable, versatile, and highly sustainable material composed of approximately 65% FSC-certified or recycled paper content and 35% phenolic resin.  See below for countertop color selections in both Durat and Richlite.

Tile and Grout:

Showers are fully lined with 4″ x 16″ Subway tiles in multiple colors.  Choose your color of subway tile plus grout color for your home.

Cabinets:

All cabinet fronts and metal frames come with a powder-coat paint finish.  Choose one color for all cabinets, vanities, and kitchen islands throughout the home.

Exterior Cladding:

The exterior finish option for the homes come in Thermory 8″ Spruce wood cladding.  Thermory wood cladding undergoes a chemical-free thermal modification process to treat and color the wood, and the lumber is sourced from well managed American forests. Finishes come in either a natural spruce, black stain, or ultra black stain finish.
