Appliances
Each home comes with a full Fisher & Paykel kitchen appliance package, and a Whirlpool washer/dryer set.
Refrigerator/Freezer
Fisher & Paykel Column Refrigerators and Freezers are used in each home. Refrigerators and freezers are encased in Hygge Supply custom cabinetry.
Oven
A Fisher & Paykel 30″ Wall Oven is included with each kitchen. An additional oven can be added as an upgrade.
Dishdrawer
A 24” Fisher & Paykel dishdrawer is included in each kitchen island. Add an optional second dishwasher drawer to the island to accommodate high traffic kitchens.
Washer/Dryer
Each home kit comes with a Whirlpool 4.5 cu. Ft. Closet Depth Front Load Washer and a Whirlpool 7.4 cu. Ft. Front Load Electric Dryer with Steam Cycles.
Custom Cabinetry
Hygge Supply custom cabinets come as a standard package in all homes and include all storage cabinets, vanities, and kitchen islands. The cabinets themselves are floor-to-ceiling units which have been specifically designed to accommodate the dimensions and specifications of each model. Cabinets come in one color for the entire home.
Closet Cabinets
Hygge Supply closet cabinets come standard in each bedroom, while general storage cabinets are included in the majority of the models for streamlined organization.
Utility Cabinets
Custom cabinets are also included in all models to house and accommodate the mechanicals and washer/dryer units.
Bathroom Vanities
All vanities are custom designed with powder-coated steel frames, cabinet fronts, and functional drawers. Vanities come as stand-alone furniture pieces which are installed on-site and come either with a single or double sink. Vanity countertops come with the choice of either Durat solid surface countertops or Richlite resin-infused paper countertops. Durat is a unique ecological solid surface material which contains recycled pre-consumer plastics and is 100% recyclable. Richlite is an incredibly durable, versatile, and highly sustainable material composed of approximately 65% FSC-certified or recycled paper content and 35% phenolic resin.
Kitchen Island
The kitchen island is also custom designed with a powder-coated steel frame, cabinet fronts, and functional drawers. The kitchen island houses the TopZero Stainless Steel kitchen sink, Fisher & Paykel Cooktop, and Fisher & Paykel Dish Drawer(s) with custom cabinet fronts. The island comes with the choice of either Durat solid surface countertops or Richlite resin-infused paper countertops. Structure
The structure of Hygge Supply homes employ Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), steel framing, steel beams to complete the building structure. In addition to the structure, we most commonly use helical piers as a foundation.
Panels
We use two types of Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) for the building envelope. The SIPs for the floors and roofs are designed for each and manufactured with a foam insulated core surrounded with metal skins. The exterior walls are SIPs that are designed to provide structural framing, insulation, sheathing, and a vapor barrier in one, fast high-tech step. These SIPs do not degrade over time and provide exceptional insulation with some of the highest R-values on the market. The benefits of the SIPs include: reducing utility costs up to 50%; faster construction time; pest and mold free; serve as a fire retardant.
Panels are made with some recycled content and custom made to order so there is little waste on the job site.
Pier Foundations
Pier foundations overall have minimal impact on the land requiring less excavation. Piers paired with our steel framed flooring also prevents foundations from sinking and settling over time, especially in areas with unstable soils or high yearly rainfall.
Steel Framing
The homes are encased in steel framing. The strength and durability of a steel framed house makes it resistant to fire, water and insect damage. The structure of steel also stays “true” and holds its shape eliminating any bowing, warping or twisting. It also makes for a level surface for drywall.
Main Beam
All home kits are engineered with a main steel beam in the main kitchen/living area. The main beam will be primed and painted to match your interior wall color.
Finish Plumbing and Lighting
Finish plumbing and lighting throughout the homes take a streamlined approach to create a consistent look and feel to the homes.
Delta Trinsic Faucets and Karran Sinks
Kitchen faucets, vanity faucets, and shower heads and controls come from the Delta Trinsic collection. Each option comes in either chrome or matte black finishes. Both the kitchen islands and the vanities come with Karran stainless steel sinks.
Oceania Lisbon Soaking Tub
Several Hygge Supply bathrooms come with a standard Oceania Lisbon soaking tub or can be added as an upgrade.
Lighting
Hygge Supply homes come standard with Anglepoise pendant lighting. Anglepoise Giant 1227 Pendant lights are set over Kitchen Island and Dining Area, while the Original 1227 Maxi Pendant lights are hung over the bathroom vanities. The pendant lights come color matched to the cabinets over the kitchen island, or in Linen White or Jet Black for the vanities. Each model also comes with square NDR Electric Razor LED lighting throughout the home. Choose your finish in either black or white.
Mechanicals
Efficient mechanicals are included with each home.
Radiant Flooring
All homes come with radiant floor heating. Radiant floor heating systems supply heat directly to the floor of the house and provide heat through infrared radiation and convection. It is more efficient than baseboard heating and usually more efficient than forced-air heating because it eliminates duct losses. Single zone radiant heating standard in all homes – upgradeable multi-zone option.
Air Conditioning
Upgrade your system to include air conditioning with mini-split units by Chilltrix.
Ventilation System
Each home is equipped with a Broan Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) system in which fans pull fresh air into a home while simultaneously exhausting stale air from the home. Both the fresh air stream and the stale air stream flow through the HRV. The core of the appliance allows some of the heat from the warmer air stream (the stale air in winter, the fresh air in summer) to be transferred to the cooler air stream. In winter, in other words, the appliance “recovers” some of the heat that would have otherwise been exhausted. This heat transfer occurs without any mixing of the two air streams.
Water Heating System
With an energy-efficient design, the tankless or on-demand hot water heater provides an endless supply of hot water. All homes come with a tankless water heater easily stored in the mechanical closet.
Thermostats
All homes come with Ecobee thermostats and room sensors to regulate heating, cooling, and ventilation. Control it all with this digital regulatory system that can be managed either from the unit itself or from your Android or iOS device.
Brilliant Tech All-In-One Smart Home Controls
Brilliant Tech All-in-One Smart Home controls are included in all Hygge Supply homes. Brilliant Tech allows you to control all of your smart home devices from one, easy to access and easy to use, control panel on your wall or a single app on your phone. Choose the Brilliant Tech covers in white, gray, or black.
Ceiling Fans
Ceiling fans can be added as an upgrade to bedrooms in all homes. Ceiling fans come from the Modern Fan Company, in the IC2 Air model, with a white or dark bronze finish.
Fireplace
Steel mantel fireplaces are part of most of the home designs. Fireplaces come as either wood burning or gas versions.
Windows and Doors
Hygge homes are equipped with Pella doors and windows.
Windows
Pella Lifestyle Series casement windows open and close with the turn of a crank, making them a perfect compliment to the Hygge Homes. With curated options for finishes and hardware, you can personalize your casement window to complement your home.
Doors
