Thermal Modification allows wood not naturally suitable for exterior applications to be successful because of its compositional change on a microscopic level. Hygge Supply custom cabinets come as a standard package in all homes and include all storage cabinets, vanities, and kitchen islands. The cabinets themselves are floor-to-ceiling units which have been specifically designed to accommodate the dimensions and specifications of each model. Cabinets are powder coated. The powder coat is made without solvents, therefore emitting zero volatile organic compounds (VOCs) when applied to our cabinet fronts and frames. The coatings are also extremely durable and resistant to chips and scratches. Choose one color for all cabinets in the home.
Both the kitchen island and vanity countertops come with the choice of either Durat solid surface countertops or Richlite resin-infused paper countertops. Durat is a unique ecological solid surface material which contains recycled pre-consumer plastics and is 100% recyclable. Richlite is an incredibly durable, versatile, and highly sustainable material composed of approximately 65% FSC-certified or recycled paper content and 35% phenolic resin.
Decks are built with Arbor Wood pine decking. This decking product is an eco-conscious alternative to composite, chemical-treated or exotic hardwood decking. Because Thermally Modified Wood is less prone to water absorption, expansion/contraction, rot and decay, woods not typically suitable for outdoor applications are able to perform with a long service life.
All homes come with Hightech Woods flooring. This flooring offers durability and performance in a real wood, wide plank flooring material. Hightech woods provide true beauty overlaid with the durability yet to be seen by other wide plank products.
Showers are fully lined with 4″x16″ Subway tiles in multiple colors. Choose your color of subway tile plus grout color for your home.

Interior walls are drywall and painted with low VOC paints. Choose one color for the walls of the entire house. Pocket door panels come painted to match the interior walls. All paint finishes are in C2 Lux Mat, which is a true washable matte finish.
Lifestyle Casement Windows line the walls of each of the Hygge Supply models. Our casement windows are energy efficient, secure and durable, and they bring a sense of trademark character to each design. All center windows are operational casements with full screens.

Each shower bench is hand-crafted from Thermory Intense Ash products, which are sustainably sourced and thermally treated (chemical free).
